PharmaMed — 25,000 products, 3 audiences, 1 platform

Since 1977, PharmaMed has been supplying healthcare professionals, care facilities and public bodies with medical and paramedical equipment. More than 18,000 customers. More than 25,000 products. Its own delivery service. A demanding B2B logic.

When PharmaMed decided to speed up its digital transformation, the goal was not to put products online. It was to build a tool able to support a real procurement process — for professionals who order often, quickly, and on specific pricing terms.

The challenge

PharmaMed does not sell the same way to a self-employed nurse, a hospital purchasing manager or an individual looking for equipment for a relative at home. Prices differ. Featured products differ. Ordering processes differ.

The challenge was not technical in the strict sense. It was architectural: how do you build one platform that serves these three realities without creating three sites to maintain?

  • B2C — Individuals looking for medical equipment for home use. Simplified journey, public prices.
  • B2B — Healthcare professionals, clinics, pharmacies. Contract pricing, recurring orders.
  • B2G — Hospitals, care homes, public bodies. Structured procurement logic.

Catalogue architecture

PharmaMed catalogue architecture — 12 business categories

25,000 medical products. 12 structured business categories. Clear navigation, business filters. Each category reflects how a healthcare professional buys: they are not looking for a product, they are looking for an answer to a clinical need.

MyShop — the core of the project

MyShop — PharmaMed professional procurement area

A dedicated area custom-built by WiMakeIT for professional buyers who regularly order the same items.

  • Product selection defined per customer
  • Multi-user management with separate permissions
  • Purchase control (no off-catalogue orders)
  • Unlimited favourites for recurring restocking
  • Automatic contract prices
  • Order history and consumption tracking

“MyShop is not there to sell. It is there so you no longer waste time ordering.”

What this project shows

  1. A single platform can serve three audiences (B2B, B2C, B2G) without compromising the experience of any of them.
  2. A custom ERP integration keeps prices, stock and orders synchronised in real time.
  3. MyShop turns a recurring order into a few clicks.
  4. 25,000 products organised into 12 business categories make the catalogue easy to browse, even without search.
  5. Multi-user management and access rights meet the requirements of care facilities.
