Synchronization of your ERP and your ecommerce website

ERP synchronisation · Magento 2 & MageOS

Your ERP and your online store.
The same figures, on both sides.

Products, stock, prices, orders: WiMakeIT connects your ERP to your Magento 2 or MageOS store so that every piece of information is entered only once. A link designed around your processes, one-way or both ways.

The problem

Two systems that don't talk to each other means doing the work twice.

Your ERP knows your products, your stock, your prices and your customers. If your e-commerce site doesn't receive that data automatically, someone copies it by hand. And whatever is copied by hand ends up drifting apart.

⌨️

Hours of manual data entry

Product records created twice, web orders retyped into the ERP, Excel exports every time a price changes. Your team is doing the job of an interface.

📦

Stock levels that no longer match

The site shows a product as available when the last one went out that very morning. You cancel the order, you apologise, and the customer doesn't come back.

💶

Different prices depending on the tool

A discount negotiated with a trade customer is in the ERP but not on the site. The customer sees a different price from the one agreed, and your sales rep ends up handling the complaint.

What we synchronise

One single source of truth: your ERP.

Together with you, we define which data flows, in which direction and when. Your site shows what your ERP knows, and your ERP receives what your site sells.

📋

Product catalogue

Products, part numbers and attributes created in the ERP and published on the site. No more managing two catalogues side by side.

📦

Stock and availability

The site reflects your actual stock. What is no longer available is no longer sold online.

🏷️

Prices and terms

Public prices, trade prices, terms specific to a customer profile. Every logged-in visitor sees the price that applies to them.

🛒

Orders

Orders placed online reach your ERP without being retyped. Your logistics and invoicing work as usual.

🔄

One-way or both ways

Some data flows from the ERP to the site, some flows back. We choose the direction of each flow based on how you work, not on the limits of a tool.

🔗

Several connected systems

One ERP per store, supplier APIs, a CRM or an email marketing tool: the central site talks to each of them, and a new system can be connected without starting over.

Our approach

Standard connector or custom integration: we'll tell you which.

Off-the-shelf connectors exist for many ERPs. Sometimes they are enough. Often, your business rules don't fit their mould. We look at your processes before choosing.

Existing connector

When your flows are standard

If a proven module covers your needs, we install it, configure it and test it. No custom development for the sake of it.

  • ✓ Faster to set up
  • ✓ Module chosen for its stability
  • ✓ Limitations known and stated from the start
Custom integration

When your business has its own rules

Prices per customer profile, a network of stores each with its own tool, a less common ERP: we build the interface that fits the way you work, through the APIs of your systems.

  • ✓ Your business rules respected
  • ✓ Two-way flows where needed
  • ✓ Code maintained by the team that wrote it

How we work

We understand your flows before writing a single line of code.

A poorly scoped synchronisation creates more problems than it solves. Every project follows the same steps, from analysis to go-live.

1

Analysis of your processes

We usually start with a visit to your premises. We identify what your ERP contains, who updates it, and what the site needs to receive from it or send back to it.

2

Documented solution

You receive in writing the selected flows, their direction, their frequency and how they will be implemented. You know what will be done before you commit.

3

Development and testing

The interface is built and tested on a test environment, with your real data. Your store and your ERP keep running normally throughout this phase.

4

Sign-off by your teams

On the test site, you check that a product created in the ERP appears correctly, that a changed price follows through, that a web order lands in the right place. Nothing goes live without your approval.

5

Go-live and follow-up

We support you through go-live, then we stay on: when your ERP changes version or your needs evolve, the integration keeps pace as part of the maintenance.

Why WiMakeIT

On this kind of project, integration matters as much as e-commerce.

A franchise network where each store keeps its own tool, a B2B and B2C store linked to its ERP in both directions, a medical site with prices per customer profile: our Magento projects are often integration projects first and foremost.

ERPs used in Belgium

Mercator, Odoo, SAP, Dynamics AX, Wolters Kluwer. We know how they work and where their constraints lie.

API expertise

ERP, CRM, email marketing, supplier APIs: an integration architecture designed for mixed systems.

Certified Magento 2 specialists

The integration is built by developers who know Magento and MageOS inside out.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions — ERP synchronisation

Probably. What matters is how your ERP allows its data to be exchanged. We check this during the analysis and tell you clearly what is feasible before any quote.

It can, for the data that warrants it, such as stock, prices or orders. For other data, a regular update is enough. We set the frequency of each flow with you, based on your business and on what your ERP supports.

Yes. We start with an audit: state of the connector, error logs, flows at risk. Only then do we tell you whether it is better to fix it or replace it.

Let us know as soon as you have the information. We analyse the impact on the integration, test with the new version and adapt the interface before the switchover, not in a rush afterwards.

Your ERP has the right data. Your store should have it too.

Tell us which ERP you use and what you still enter by hand. We'll come back to you with concrete advice on what can be automated.
