Checkout voor Hyvä

Een dunne compatibiliteitslaag die wimakeit/module-checkout netjes laat werken op winkels met een Hyvä-thema. Installeer hem naast de base checkout-module en de aangepaste one-page checkout — met zijn styles, payment-method icons en success-pagina — wordt correct gerenderd op Hyvä, opgepakt door de Tailwind-build, zonder manuele workaround.

De base wimakeit/module-checkout blijft thema-agnostisch zodat hij kan draaien op Luma en Breeze. De <head>-renderer van Hyvä laat echter het rel="stylesheet"-attribuut weg uit in layout gedeclareerde <css>-directives, waardoor de styling van de checkout stilletjes verdwijnt. Deze companion module lost dat op — en alleen dat — zonder de base-module te vervuilen met Hyvä-specifieke code.

Belangrijkste voordelen

  • Correcte stylesheet-levering op Hyvä — emit een echte <link rel="stylesheet"> voor checkout.css en success.css zodat de checkout eruitziet zoals bedoeld, niet als kale HTML-fallback.
  • Eigen gecompileerde CSS — levert eigen view/frontend/web/css/checkout.css en success.css, gecompileerd uit de LESS-partials van de base-module. Geen afhankelijkheid van frontend assets elders.
  • Tailwind-build integratie — registreert de template-paden van module-checkout en module-checkout-hyva in de Tailwind purge-config van Hyvä via het hyva_config_generate_before event. Draai bin/magento hyva:config:generate en uw thema-build pakt elke utility-klasse op.
  • Payment-method icons op Hyvä — de icon resolver en CSS-regels uit wimakeit/module-checkout 1.7 bereiken Hyvä ongewijzigd via deze laag.
  • Geen base-module vervuiling — Luma- en Breeze-winkels houden een propere base-module. Hyvä-sites activeren deze companion alleen wanneer nodig.
  • Drop-in upgrade-pad — een bump van de base checkout naar een nieuwe minor versie wordt gespiegeld door deze module te bumpen; verder verandert er niets in uw thema.

Installation notes

The standard composer require + setup:upgrade + setup:di:compile flow applies. The points below cover what's specific to this module.

When to install

Only install this module on Hyvä-themed sites. Luma and Breeze stores do not need it — the base wimakeit/module-checkout already ships everything they need.

Composer pulls them automatically as long as the Wimakeit registry is declared in your project's composer.json and Hyvä is already installed.

Admin configuration

This module has no admin configuration of its own. It inherits every setting from wimakeit/module-checkout — go to Stores → Configuration → Wimakeit → Checkout to manage the underlying checkout behaviour.

The hyva:config:generate step is essential — it lets Hyvä's Tailwind build see both this module's templates and the base wimakeit/module-checkout templates, so every utility class used in those .phtml files survives the purge.

Upgrade flow (when bumping the base checkout)

When wimakeit/module-checkout ships a new minor (e.g. 1.7 → 1.8) with new LESS partials or templates:

How it integrates with Hyvä

  • A custom block is added to <head> on checkout_index_index and checkout_onepage_success, emitting a proper <link rel="stylesheet"> (Hyvä's native renderer drops the rel attribute on layout-declared <css> entries).
  • An observer on hyva_config_generate_before registers this module and wimakeit/module-checkout with Hyvä's Tailwind purge config.
  • view/frontend/tailwind/module.css carries @source directives covering both modules' templates so any Tailwind class added in .phtml files survives the build.

Fix

  • Contrast now meets WCAG on the product reference, the phone help line, the kit option labels and the remove control.
  • Hovering a bare control no longer shifts the page: the theme's one-pixel hover border is neutralised on the checkout's own buttons.

Fix

  • Hyvä checkouts get the current stylesheet again. The served CSS had drifted months behind the source it is compiled from: input fields lost to the theme's own styles, the payment-methods loading indicator was missing, and the checkout page kept its header and footer. Both stylesheets are rebuilt from the base module's sources.
  • The stylesheets are no longer downloaded when the Wimakeit checkout or success page is switched off.

Feature

  • Recompiled checkout.css so the .wm-co-method-icon rule from wimakeit/module-checkout 1.7.0 is served on Hyvä — payment-method icons now render correctly on Hyvä-themed checkouts.
